Ghostwriter!
The American Heritage Dictionary says a ghostwriter is a person who writes for and gives credit of authorship to another person.
Simple enough!
Even so, some people have qualms about hiring another person to express their thoughts. They feel they should do it all themselves, even though they are not professional writers and aren’t confident about their work.
But think of it this way: if you’re giving a big party and can’t cook, you hire a catering service. If you need some home renovations and can’t add a room yourself, you hire a contractor.
So, if you need to express something really important, why not hire a writer? Lilian Duval, “writer for hire,” works with you every step of the way until you’re absolutely delighted with the finished product.
Thank you Lilian! It is a pleasure working with you. You are my voice, and I can’t wait to write how the idea of this book came and how I met you; it is incredible. Looking forward to more questions! Again, thank you for your kind words and thoughtful questions that make me see my life more clearly. — Aster Keleta, dedicated social activist on behalf of immigrants, California, December 2013.
